The StockGitter Investment Challenge is a competition that aims to teach individuals of all age about the financial market. Using the StockGitter Financial Assistant, participants will test their knowledge and trading skills through a simulated trading program where performance is tracked and measured. The challenge helps those participating to learn about the fundamentals of investing and encourages research and strategic planning utilizing the Jamaica Stock exchange and US market listed trading instruments.

 

Official Notice

All trading activity in the StockGitter Investment Challenge including such actions but not limited to transactions, positions and other information are virtual, fictitious and non-binding. All profits and losses are virtual. Therefore, participants will not be able to gain or lose actual money and indemnify StockGitter and the StockGitter Investment Challenge from any repercussions resulting from their participation.

 

Competition Setup

 

All trading activity in the StockGitter Investment Challenge including such actions but not limited to transactions, positions and other information are virtual, fictitious and non-binding. Competition Entry

1.   Anyone around the world can join a StockGitter game in countries that are approved by the laws of the United States and others by the discretion of StockGitter Inc.

 

2.    Go to www.stockgitter.com click Join Now

 

3.    Signup and activate your account

 

4.    After September 1, 2019 @11:59 pm go to the competition tab in your stockgitter account Click enter

 

5.    Under My portfolio, start buying and selling with virtual cash during regular market hours!

 

6.    In order to enter the StockGitter Investment Challenge, participants must create a StockGitter. Upon verification and game activation, each game will be available under the competition tab at www.stockitter.com.

 

7.    The StockGitter company, its management team, employees, contractors, consultants or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by StockGitter, or a supplier of goods or services in connection with the StockGitter Investment Challenge, or the spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the StockGitter Investment Challenge.

 

8.    The StockGitter Investment Challenge is for one individual per one professional subscription. Groups of two or more individuals may not use the same subscription.

 

9.   StockGitter Investment Challenge participants must agree to all rules and regulations and terms and conditions as described in the Competition

 

Verified competition participants will be granted access to the Competition Dashboard which will include:

 

1.    Listing of all competitors  

 

2.    Trading/ interview Videos 

 

3.    Real-time Live videos

 

4.    Newest member joining the competition

 

5.    End of day biggest Earners

 

Virtual Money

 

 

1.    Each user is allotted $100,000.00 in virtual money as an initial investment amount.

 

2.    An investment game may carry a minimum amount that must be invested to qualify to win.

 

3.    Each participant can only invest in one market. By default StockGitter will indicate by geographical region what user can invest in what market.

 

4.    StockGitter reserves the right to limit users by country for which games a participant can enter

 

5.    Stock purchases will be limited to the number of outstanding shares in StockGitter and will be limited to the amount available or the maximum of outstanding shares whichever is less.

 

Limit trades at the end of Markets:

 

1.    Jamaica Stock exchange: -Trades after 1 pm or 2pm EST will be executed Next day 9 am

 

2.    US Market: - Trades after 4pm EST pm will be executed Next day 9 am

 

3.    Trades will only be executed within market hours 

 

By the end of the competition period, the individual with the most gains based on trading, buying and selling will be declared the winner. Prizes will be indicated in the completion dashboard within StockGitter.

Additional terms

1.     The profile information of participants can be used for research purposes following confidentiality rules (personal information will not be publicly available).

 

2.     The StockGitter organizers are not liable for any advice provided on stock-picking.

 

3.     The organizers of the competition retain the rights to change the rules of the competition at any time. Changes have to be agreed on by a majority vote at the StockGitter Board meeting. All changes will be published in the news and rules sections.

 

4.     If organizers observe any suspicious transactions, they take full legal entitlement to temporarily suspend the user activity for investigation purposes; and in case of cheating, the account will be deleted while the user will be banned from the competition forever. If there is a suspicion that a player manipulated in the real market to gain advantage in the competition, our duty is to report such cases to relevant regulatory authorities.

 

5.     If one of the Game winners is found guilty in manipulating real market for the purpose of winning the Game after investigation of security exchange commission in any of the countries represented in the Game, organizers have the right to demand reimbursement of the prize from the guilty winner.

 

6.     By registering for the game, you indirectly allow us to use collective non personal gaming data to forward to our sponsors. Non personal data is considered in this case as first and last name email address and phone number.

 

7.     By registering for the game, you indirectly allow us to present you with advertisements that fits your profile based on our algorithms but also provide you with an opportunity to opt out by upgrading to a professional account.

 

8.     No cash is required to enter any StockGitter game! However, our premium subscribers will have access to higher level exclusive games.

 

9.     No cash is required to receive your earnings.

 

10.  Prizes will be tracked in the users Extrawta earnings account and becomes withdraw-able at the end of the month after identity can be verified.

11. Each Investment game requires a Minimum of 10 participants to remain open for a minimum of 50% of the game duration. StockGitter reserves the right to cancel such game and notify participants of such cancellation within 5 business days. Any virtual profits earned in such game will be valid and applied to the users’ regular account.

12.  Winner of an investment game/challenge  shall not have a negative profit nor sero profit noted at the time of award at the end of the game. In such a case the game will be ended with no winner.
